Tareq Hadhad Receives a 2027 Canada’s Clean50 Emerging Leader Award in Toronto

Peace by Chocolate CEO Tareq Hadhad received a 2027 Canada’s Clean50 Emerging Leader Award in Toronto. For Hadhad, one of the best parts of accepting the award was seeing the work of his team back home in Nova Scotia recognized.

As Peace by Chocolate has grown, the team has made changes to how much packaging the company uses, how much waste it produces and how much energy it takes to run the business. Hadhad acknowledged that those changes haven’t always come easily. He credited the people who put them into practice and who continue to show how the company can grow responsibly while giving back to its communities.
