Finished writing an entry to a book on Children, Youth and Peace

I finished writing an entry to a book on Children, Youth and Peace, and here are some highlights I wanted to share with you:

The price of divisiveness and inaction in the face of injustice has been repeatedly demonstrated by history.
Teaching the future generation to confront prejudice and to appreciate the worth and dignity of every human being is the first step on the path to peace.

Learning from the past helps us realize that our commonalities are considerably stronger than our differences.

There is hope for peace. I have witnessed it. I have experienced it. And I think it can be reached, one generation at a time, one small act of kindness at a time, one tale, one act of compassion at a time.
